Design and make a unique matching collar and lead set for your furry friend!

Workshop will last for approximately 4.5 hours. You will make a collar and lead set from leather. You will choose fittings and fixings for your collar and lead and you will learn about strap cutting, die cutting, techniques used for colouring leather, burnishing and finishing.

Materials, drinks and light refreshments are included. You are welcome to bring your own picnic!

Welcome aboard narrowboat Craftybird

A workshop on Craftybird is a perfect way for friends and family to spend quality creative time together! Visit us and spend time in our unique floating workshop. Create your own design while taking in scenery from the canal or river. There comfortable space for 2 people, 3 at a squeeze… (and no minimum!)

No experience needed and workshops can be made to suit all ages from 8 years (as long as they are accompanied by an adult) and up. Dates and times to suit you. Please send an email (sally@craftybird.uk) with your preferences for your workshop date and time. We will always do our very best to accommodate.

Once we arrange date and time, we will send you an email with Craftybird’s exact location and joining instructions before the day of your workshop. Craftybird will be moored close to somewhere you can park a car, and accessible by foot and no more than a 10 minute walk along tow path.

Accessibility

We make every effort to ensure safe boarding and disembarking from narrowboat Craftybird but she IS a narrowboat and comes to you with steps and restricted head room in places.  Please bear in mind that access may be difficult for anyone who has restricted movement.
