Old friends with feathers...
This cheeky little bird and I go way back - over 25 years, in fact! Born as a logo for my very first business, they started out as just a tiny part of a much bigger picture... literally. The first time we met, they were casually perched on the nose of an alligator. As you do.
Thank you to Paul Taylor of Byte Design for hatching this feathered friend into existence all that time ago!
Fun fact: this bird has never had a set gender—making them delightfully ahead of their time and totally free-spirited.
Fast forward to today, Craftybird is not just the name of my business, it’s also the name of my boat—and of course, still the name of this charming, ever-loyal logo who’s flown with me all these years.
