A three hour session on board Craftybird allows time to design and make your own unique leatherwork item in our beautiful floating workshop. Watch the world go by outside from your ringside seat in our tranquil and welcoming space.
Sally, your host, will help you to learn the skills and techniques you need to design and make your own project.
Projects that you could choose to make within the time available include: belt, leather braided bracelet, wet moulded flowers, a pouch or bag, or more! If you have your own project in mind we will do our best to help with it.

Once you purchase this gift voucher, you will receive an email containing the voucher and unique code which you can email or print out to give to your recipient. Price is per person.
To book the workshop, just contact Sally by email or phone to arrange a mutually convenient date and time. As narrowboat Craftybird is a continuously cruising vessel, her exact location will be confirmed at close to the date of the workshop.
Welcome aboard narrowboat Craftybird
A workshop on Craftybird is a perfect way for friends and family to spend quality creative time together! Visit us and spend time in our unique floating workshop. Create your own design while taking in scenery from the canal or river. There comfortable space for 2 people, 3 at a squeeze… (and no minimum!)
No experience needed and workshops can be made to suit all ages from 8 years (as long as they are accompanied by an adult) and up. Dates and times to suit you. Please send an email (sally@craftybird.uk) with your preferences for your workshop date and time. We will always do our very best to accommodate.
Once we arrange date and time, we will send you an email with Craftybird’s exact location and joining instructions before the day of your workshop. Craftybird will be moored close to somewhere you can park a car, and accessible by foot and no more than a 10 minute walk along tow path.

Accessibility
We make every effort to ensure safe boarding and disembarking from narrowboat Craftybird but she IS a narrowboat and comes to you with steps and restricted head room in places. Please bear in mind that access may be difficult for anyone who has restricted movement.
