Dockers hat workshop - 3.5 hours

Welcome aboard narrowboat Craftybird

In this workshop the focus will be on making a a dockers style hat to your own design. This is a stylish and useful hat which can suit all ages.

You will learn about pattern cutting and stitching and gluing soft leather pieces. 

Come and spend time in our unique beautiful floating workshop. Create and play while you take in scenery from the canal or river. 

Narrowboat Craftybird hosts the only floating workshop on the canal system where you can come on board and create. This workshop will last for around 3 hours and includes materials and light refreshments. 

There is a maximum of 2 spaces and a minimum of 1 per workshop. If you would like to bring a larger group lease contact Sally directly to enquire - sally@craftybird.uk

No experience needed and workshops can be made to suit all ages from 8 years (as long as they are accompanied by an adult) and up. 

We will send you an email with Craftybird’s exact location and joining instructions before the day of your workshop. We will ensure that Craftybird will be moored near to a suitable car parking place, and accessible by foot and no more than a 10 minute walk from your car.

Accessibility

We make every effort to ensure safe boarding and disembarking from narrowboat Craftybird but she IS a narrowboat and comes to you with steps and restricted head room in places.  Please bear in mind that access may be difficult for anyone who has restricted movement.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation with full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the workshop. Alternatively you can swap to another date at no charge.
